Eric W. Taylor

Mission: Mexico Oaxaca
Dates served: July 2007 - July 2009
Home city: Redmond, Washington
Relation to Uncle Bud: Great-great nephew from the Lynn D. Taylor branch

Eric’s parents are Thomas Henry and Carolyn Warner Taylor. Growing up with great examples from all sides of his extended family, Eric probably always knew he would serve a mission but it was during his Freshman year at BYU that he learned to love the Book of Mormon and decided he needed to share it with anyone who would hear him.

Eric was able to teach and serve many people and made a lot of friends along the way. He learned to love the people of Mexico and learned a lot about patience and humility and hard work. His only complaint was the heat (growing up in Washington, it’s easy to see why the heat might have been difficult for him). Now Eric is home from his mission and attending BYU again. He was lucky enough to get a job teaching Spanish at the MTC and truly enjoys his job. He is majoring in Business.
